If I could award this group a minus star rating then I would. In late April 2017, I bought two Champion garage door openers from my Royal Oak Canadian Tire store. I also opted for the install service at a cost of $198. This was a major mistake. I waited two weeks for the installer to agree on an appointment and then he did not turn up. One week later this cowboy arrived and proceeded to install the two motors. He left with rubbish strewn all over the garage floors - nuts, bolts, packaging, wire clippings etc as he 'had another install to do and was late'. A month later I noticed a piece of angle bar lying on the garage floor. I called CCT Home installers and a new person arrived who advised me that "the previous work was poor and shoddy'. He then examined the installation and identified that the main support holdings for the motor and drive were only held in by two and not the 4 bolts that were supplied.
