As we asked about prices of ammonite jewelry we were interested in, male staff who appeared to be the manager instructed a female staff that she did not have to check the prices but instead "just tell it to us". Afterwards, he instructed her that it's okay to stop servicing to cash out Caucasian customers instead and not to make that mistake again. Male staff demonstrated no interest in providing us service. We later found out why. We asked for prices of other pieces of ammonite jewelry. He attended to us and indicated that "these pieces are all $300 and up". I said "that's fine" and asked for the price of one of them. He paused and asked us "do you have that kind of money?". Terrible, judgemental service. I noticed that manager appeared to prefer servicing Caucasian customers with more attention and time. I have no interest in supporting such a business and hope you won't buy from here. There are so many gift shops to choose from in Banff carrying the same items at similar prices.
