Description [ edit ]
Reptilia is the lowest priced major attraction in the GTA!
Reptilia's zoo is the first of its kind in the GTA and it adds another destination to Vaughan's already growing list of attractions. Visitors to the zoo will observe large 22 ft long pythons such as Reggie and Diaga. New specimens, such as Induna and Nandi Reptilia's Nile crocodiles, are on display as well. Induna is 14 ft long and the largest crocodile on display in Canada. Each exhibit includes an informative sign that provides detailed information about the animals on display. You will also find the answers to most of your reptile and amphibian questions on the signs as you travel through the zoo.

i have been here but you have to like and you need a good interest in retiles and those creature to love this place overall it was a good experience
We went there last year as a family, probably one of the best attractions I've seen in Toronto. Luckily, we made it there on a feeding day, apparently you can call ahead to check. They were feeding the boas, bunnies for the smaller snakes and a whole goat for the big one. This sounds gory, but once there and looking at it, it ends up being fascinating. What makes it even better are the incredibly well informed and helpful staff which were ever present. We had what seemed like an impromptu tour of the place and it seemed like they didn't get much attention (it was a hot and beautiful summer day). The tour kept all the kids interested and you could tell that these were experts in their field. It's a small attraction, until you realize the depth and variety of reptiles and spiders that they have there, easily the most varied collection I have seen. We thought we'd be there for an hour tops, we spent almost 4. Top stuff.
Really cool place to check out various reptiles, a fun learning environment for children and adult alike! I enjoyed browsing through the cool gift shop as well
We bought admission tickets when they were offered on Groupon a couple of months ago. Just made it there the other day. Reptilia did have an amazing way of displaying the animals so we could view them in ways we had never done before. It's not too large of a zoo overall, though they do have quite a bit of reptiles. We were through it in a fairly short time and I think would have been a bit bothered if we had of paid full price for it. We did encounter a small group getting a tour and the tour guide was very informative from the bits and pieces we could hear. Make sure you dress appropriately because it was very warm in there, for the reptiles comfort of course. The kids absolutely loved the bathrooms so be sure to check them out if you go - cool waterfall hand washing station. There is a pretty big gift shop when you exit with some reptiles for sale as well. Overall good experience but not one we need to repeat again for quite some time.
This is a great place for kids. Informative yet fun. The highlight of the day was the giant croc at the ending of the tour - loved it!
Very unique, one of a kind. it's a perfect place to bring the kids and have a great time.
Great place for some hands on experience and education pertaining to wrangling reptiles. Not for the squeamish.
It is a great place to take your kids either on a family outing or with a group.
This place is super cool!!!!!!!!!!!
