i love their gourmet ingredients and their hors d'ouvres! Where else in Toronto can you get a tiger shimp on a buttermilk {expletive}garnished with a fried quail egg? They are so creative and it is absolutely delicious. Great foods to snack on or to pack up and take home for an impressive dinner party
The main reason why I would choose Pusateri's over the big box grocery stores (whenever in the area) is because they do sell some unique items that you cannot find elsewhere - namely imported European products. Also look for their bistro section (soup/salad, sandwiches, baguettes, baked goods, coffee).
Located inside Bayview Village mall, this newly-opened
speciality grocery store offers high-end brands and high prices to
match. Sometimes the mark-ups are laughable, especially considering the
same products are sold at Loblaws, which is also located in the mall.
There is a large selection of gourmet prepared foods and desserts
available here, so this might be worth trying out if you're short on
time. I'm amazed by how crowded this place always seems to be! Valet
parking is available but there is free parking in the Bayview lot, which
tends to fill up quickly. Good customer service can be selective; staff
here seem indifferent.
