I have been shopping on ebay for years now. The search options are very good and allow you to centre right into what you are looking for. Many auctions have the option to 'Buy now' which is very convenient. Sellers also have ratings from people who have purchased from them. You have several payment options as well. It is a great way to get great deals on stuff you like, want or need. I always check ebay before purchasing certain products.
Been selling on here for years...great site but the fees to sell are getting really high and there is still no way to contact eBay by phone...made a lot of money on eBay but also lost quite a bit of money.
It's great that you can find pretty much anything you want from toys, to furniture, to clothing and electronics. I have bought toys for kids and I bought my Mom a Royal Doulton figurine that you cannot buy in the stores, for a great price. You bid on the items you want, and the prices are extremely cheap - just pay a little extra for the shipping and it is sent directly to your home.
Ebay along with paypal (which I believe is its subsidiary) is a great service allowing regular people to buy and sell from people around the world and eliminates the middle man. The paypal guarantee and star rating service are reassuring features that give me the confidence to shop online.
