Their lunch buffet is wonderful! One of the best Res in toronto ! absolutely loved every bite!
Their lunch buffet is exceptional. The Saug Paneer is the best tasting one I've had in a long time. I pretty much just eat a plateful of that :) It's a really decent price for the buffet as well, which offers a variety of traditional dishes as well as a lovely cold selection of salads and some simple dessert offerings.
As an actual Indian person, I feel I am qualified to say that this place has authentic Indian food. .....just kidding about being Indian, but when I go there with Indian friends, they say how much the food reminds them of home-cooked meals. And speaking of family cooking, this is a great place to take your fam. No doubt, your mother, and grandmother will be impressed by the quality and taste of food, as well as their awesome decor. The butter chicken makes my mouth water. It was very cool to learn (from one of the other reviewers of this business, just below) that the restaurant had a make-over by Susur Lee. That's pretty cool, and is obviously something that very few restaurants would be able to boast about. Prices were average for such fine quality Indian food - the decor and service were wayyyy above average. And that's just an understatement for stylistic writing purposes.
oh my {expletive}this is really an authentic indian restaurant if you are indian food lover than this is the restaurant you must visit
Dhaba has a great selection of authentic Indian food. A popular choice is the lunch time buffet which a a great draw for persons who wotk in the area. this costs around $15. They also offer a selection of vegetarian dishes. The food is tasty - delicious Naan and Dhal and their Lamb Masala is to die for. For dessert, try the mango ice-cream - delicious! Deffinitely one of my favorites!
super friendly staff, and great variety of Indian food. I find it wonderful that they serve bengali seafood and fish curry, one of my faves!
I must say this.....great food great ambience......feel like home.....i just love the food here
Great food thanks to recent makeover with Chef Susur Lee. Ambiance leaves much to be desired including presentation details with menu and waiters. Brenda Bent gets 3/10 on decor. Could not make any sense of those stickers on wall...Indian??
This is one of the very best Indian food spots in Toronto. Thier Vidalo will melt your dog tags, and the Buttered Chicken is to die for.
my girlfriend loves this place. Indian food is her favorite and if she likes it, that says a lot.
