This used to be the place that I would pop in for a pint before seeing a show at YUK YUKS next door, but now I go out of my way to dine and spend time here on a regular basis!! Despite the fact that it is always packed, the service is always great and quick. And the manager always comes around to see how the customers are doing and if they are enjoying their experience, which I love!!! I went last week and as much as I wanted to go for the wicked wings... I decided to venture elsewhere on their great menu and had the Mexican Salad!!! AHHH-MAZING!!! Love the Piper man!!! :)
Great Pub, and I am not normally a pub person. Great Wings, not a lot of flavours but the sauces are great and the wings themselves are big and meaty. Specials every day of the week, and lots of variety on the menu. Not amazing food, but good and good value. Surprisingly Saturday nights there is DJ from 10pm to close playing decent music and people dancing. Better than most attempts at nightlife in the area. Lots of TVs for sports watching. Only bad thing about the place really is the decor.
Great place for a pint with friends, but grab anything beyond an appetizer someplace else - not only will you be waiting a while, but there's no guarentee your food will be properly cooked or served hot. Service and food quality have suffered since new management took over. Friday and Saturday nights the young crowd takes over and you cant even move in there.
This is a fantastic pub with an amazing menu and their claim to fame are their wings which are fantastic! I wanted to go back over and over again to try everything on the menu! Its a busy spot but service was great and I would go back for sure!
Great location in Ajax, central to the rest of Durham. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday they have live bands, which draws in the crowds. Their wings are excellent, great for sharing with a group....regular pub fare of burgers, nachos, etc. The food is good and the service is great.

This is a very busy pub-style restaurant located off Bayly, just a little East of Westney Rd.
Huge chicken wings are a great value. Food is served quickly with a complete menu of pub fare. The Piper also offers a wide selection of draft beer.
